GBAC STAR™ is an international accreditation program run by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a division of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), a world-leading cleaning and janitorial trade association, soon to celebrate its 100th anniversary, which advocates for operational standards for facilities implementing cleaning, sanitizing, and infection prevention protocols. This certification attests that the cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention measures established by the facility meet GBAC's accreditation standards, are implemented under an appropriate management system, and are safe and secure.
